Anim Delgado, shooting guard, 192cm.

 

Delgado is a Cape Verdean (Cotonou) shooting guard who has been playing in Spain since 2021 for CB Upla.

 

He is a very physical shooting guard with a great ability to finish, creating his own shot or off screens. He also drives to the basket with great determination and finishes effectively.

 

In one-on-one situations, he is unstoppable, with a great first step.

 

Defensively, he is a very diligent player, comfortable in one-on-one situations, and has great basketball IQ for anticipating steals.

 

He secures rebounds well and can be a clutch player when needed. He was invited by Cape Verde to the 2021 Afrobasket and will reinforce training as the 13th player in the lead-up to the 2023 World Cup.
