GIANCARLO BASTIANONI

Giancarlo is an Italian international power forward who has played for the Dominican Republic's youth national teams.

 

He is a player who has developed throughout his college career, and in his senior year, he was set to play Division I basketball. However, an injury prevented him from completing the year properly.

 

Giancarlo is a great three-point shooter, reliable from long range. He is also a very tough and unstoppable player in the post, thanks to his intensity and basketball IQ. He not only scores from the post, but thanks to his excellent court vision, he can easily create opportunities for his teammates.

 

Bastianoni is capable of defending larger players, thanks to his physicality, and he feels completely comfortable on that type of defense.

 

Despite not being very tall, his excellent timing makes him a good shot blocker.
